What inspires your photographs of the Italian landscape?
My passion for photography began in school, thanks to a book I was given as a gift, which showed me the power of images. This passion was combined with a deep love for Italy: its history, its art, and its breathtaking nature are my greatest source of inspiration. Every shot is an attempt to capture and share a part of this immense beauty.
What is the purpose of this website?
This site is my visual travel diary, a personal and ever-evolving collection of the wonders of Italy seen through my photographic lens. The goal is twofold: to share my passion for photography and, above all, to promote Italy’s cultural and landscape heritage, from its major cities to its lesser-known villages.

What photographic equipment do you use?
I have been loyal to the Canon brand since the beginning of this project in 2006. Currently my main equipment consists of:
- Camera Body: Canon EOS 5D Mark IV
- Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Lens
- Filter: B+W Kaesemann circular polarizer, essential for managing reflections and saturating colors in landscapes.
What is your photographic style?
My approach is instinctive and dynamic, which is why I shoot mostly handheld to capture the moment and the best light. I only use a tripod when essential, such as nighttime or interior photography, to ensure maximum sharpness. You can learn more about my approach on the About Me page.
How was the website built?
The site is based on the WordPress platform. I use a professional theme called “React” by ThemeCatcher, purchased from the Envato Market marketplace.
How did you get the interactive map of Italy?
