About me

Leonardo Bellotti

My name is Leonardo Bellotti and I am a photographer specializing in urban architecture, landscape design, and the valorization of Italian heritage.

My story is a journey across the peninsula: I was born in Termoli, Molise, in 1978 and grew up surrounded by the colors of Puglia, in San Severo. In September 1999, at the age of 21, I became a Lombard by adoption, moving north, where I now live and work, precisely in Caravaggio (BG).

My technical training was consolidated in Milan: here I obtained a Diploma in Photography and Visual Communication with excellent grades from the IED (European Institute of Design), and then refined my technique by working as an assistant in various Milanese photography studios.

Beyond my profession, photography is a true form of expression for me. I dedicate my free time to traveling for my personal project “Italian Landscape”: a constant search for the squares, monuments, churches, and natural views that make our country unique.

La nascita del sito web

Online since September 2006, this space represents my ever-evolving visual archive. Today, it hosts a gallery of over 5,000 images dedicated to our magnificent cultural and natural heritage: a documentation effort that leads me to travel across the country to discover new, stunning landscapes and to pursue a project dedicated to the “Italian Landscape.” The site also includes a section dedicated to drone video footage.

Tour Virtuali e riprese con drone

Furthermore, since March 2026, I have expanded my business to include 360° Virtual Tours. I offer visual tours of the interiors and exteriors of commercial buildings, government offices, real estate, and transportation systems, complementing the documentation with aerial drone footage. If you’d like to learn more about how this technology works and its uses, I invite you to consult the dedicated article on Virtual Tours.

Parlano di me

Documenting the beauty of our region has always been my passion. Below, I’ve collected some links to websites that have mentioned my website and appreciated my shots.

This results in sharp, high-contrast, distortion-free images throughout the zoom range, without color bleeding at the edges of subjects.
Weighing 670g, the EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM boasts a 4.3x zoom in a lightweight body.

Filtro: Polarizzatore circolare B+W Kaesemann

Leonardo Bellotti

Circular polarizing filters are designed for all cameras with TTL exposure meters and autofocus lenses. Circular polarization has the same pictorial effect as linear polarization, but allows for correct exposure measurement and autofocus distance.
The high-end polarizing plates of Käsemann filters are neutral in color and are more efficient than traditional polarizing films.
The circular filter is housed inside a rotating holder that uses a ring to adjust the polarization plane to achieve the desired effect.
Discerning photographers consider the B+W Käsemann polarizing filter to be the best of all.
